FI/RE Starter was founded by an internal medicine physician who graduated from medical school with a net worth of negative $500k. Feeling unequipped to pay off such a large amount of debt, he set out to obtain a financial education, which included reading dozens of financial books and taking numerous course in an attempt to become financially literate.

He has since successfully paid off $450,000 of student loan debt and achieved seven-figure net work.

FI/RE Starter was created to share his knowledge and empower others on their own paths to financial independence.
